The Essex Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Hyperbaric Chamber delivers 95% pure clean oxygen in a pressurised environment, which combines to boost the body’s ability to heal itself; as well as helping with energy levels, fitness and general well-being.
The pressurised conditions within the Hyperbaric Chamber allows more oxygen to be dissolved into your blood than usual (the air we breathe usually contains just 21% oxygen), increasing oxygen concentration in all body tissues and allowing oxygen to extend to areas of reduced blood flow.

How it works
On arrival at the Clinic, one of our friendly team will accompany you to the Chamber, and show you how to use it.
The Chamber is wheelchair accessible but is ordinarily fitted with a comfortable chair for patient use- if you are a wheelchair user, please let us know in advance that you require the existing chair to be removed.
You will be fitted with a mask, before the Chamber is zipped up and pressurised to start the process.
You can work on a cordless device (such as your phone or tablet), listen to music and/or read to pass the time but many patients simply opt to relax during their time in the chamber.
At the end of the session, you will gradually depressurise the Chamber before you exit. There is a quick pressure release valve inside the chamber for any emergencies. You will be able to contact a team member throughout your session, should you need them.
Introductory Pricing
Each session is for 90 minutes:
15 minutes to pressure up - 60 minutes of pressurised Oxygen Therapy - 15 minutes to depressurise
You will be provided with your personal Oxygen Mask at your first appointment

Never used a Hyperbaric Chamber before?
If you would like to see if Oxygen Therapy is for you, we can book you in for a Trial Session.
This 30 minute session, priced at £10, allows you time in the Chamber whilst it gets up to pressure and back down again; with the sole aim of making sure you are happy in the Chamber environment.
This duration will not provide the benefits of a full session, and is not a necessity prior to full use.
